What is Alma?
Alma is an AI-powered companion web application that provides meaningful conversation and emotional support. Users can chat with AI companions that remember previous conversations, build relationships over time, and create a space for reflection and connection. Alma uses Google Sign-In to let you sync conversations across devices.
Is Alma free to use?
Yes. Chatting with Alma is free, with no setup required, and two illustrated moments a day come free too. The Alma Pass adds romance mode, deeper memory and included image cards for a day or a month. One payment. Nothing renews, nothing to cancel. A little credit covers extra image cards. Companion portraits are free to generate, with daily limits.
Is my data private?
Your conversations are stored locally on your device by default. Cloud sync (using your Google account email) stores conversations on our secure servers so you can access them across devices. We use your Google account only for authentication and to identify your data. You can delete your data anytime.
Can I create my own companion?
Absolutely. Customize your companion's name, gender, personality, interests, and more. You can even share your creation with the community.
